SWANSEA, R.I. — A meeting that was supposed to be held by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Tuesday morning to discuss a pipeline to the proposed offshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in Mount Hope Bay was abruptly canceled when Rep. Raymond E. Gallison Jr. was denied entry for refusing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
“You want it to be secure,” he said, referring to the sensitive nature of the things that were to be discussed. “You can’t have every John Q. Public coming in.”
