An editor caught this “sensitive nature” cop-out, but not before Google News. And not before this blog. The original snipped grabbed via a Google News Search maintains that an anonymous source referred to German automaker Opel dealing with FIat as a “last-ditch alternative” [see screenshot].

The edited version contains no mention of “sensitive nature” or “last-ditch” or even “alternative.”
