Google Street View will always create privacy concerns no matter what. There are entire blogs devoted to exposing mischievous snapshots that the roving Google Street View cameras have caught. But the EU is going to try to regulate this:

Google should react more quickly to requests that images and data be deleted for privacy reasons, as well as “taking positive measures to avoid capturing images of a sensitive nature.”
